Extensively redesigned and redecorated in fall 2023, the Royal Ilima is a three bedroom suite, 3 and a half bath, magnificent prime direct beachfront vacation residence of grand proportions with over 3,300 square feet of elegant, chic, warm and comfortable living space. The Royal Ilima A201 is exceptionally well appointed with abundant upgrades that are unequalled - even in comparison to nearby "Presidential Suites". There is no need to spend extra money to rent a cabana to be guaranteed some quiet space or sunshade. Our villas are extremely well stocked with an abundant supply of towels, blankets and extra bed linens, along with soap and cleaning products. There is plenty of inventory to suffice for several days. There is a laundry room within Your Own Private Paradise residence that provides a washer/dryer, laundry soap and supplies, iron/board, sewing kit, and other generous supplies. Personal laundry, clean up in the kitchen after cooking or meals, and grill cleaning, are not performed during occupied housekeeping services, unless arranged in advance and paid for separately. For details about the inclusive no-charge (complimentary) housekeeping services provided with your reservation, please refer to the rental cost quote provided to you at the time of first placing your reservation. You will receive information about the housekeeping schedule (dates and times) upon check in. No housekeeping service on national holidays. Inclusive housekeeping service may vary based on rate paid or length of stay or property. Limited properties provide cleaning every day. Most provide one “deep” cleaning every 3-4 days based on a minimum rental term of 6 nights at advertised rate. | Air Conditioning |
All rooms have central air conditioning with individual room air conditioning controls, providing for all guests to set their own preferred temperature. If the doors are left open, the air conditioning will temporarily recess until the doors are closed again. All rooms are equipped with whisper quiet remote-control ceiling fans. Air Conditioning should never be set to cool below 70-72 or the equipment may freeze or experience any other damage. Most homes and villas in Hawaii are equipped with residential grade equipment which does not provide bottomless cooling. Cooling is available to a reasonable temperature, usually in the 70-72 range on the very low end. Most guests find that a setting of 72-74 is very comfortable once a unit has been allowed to cool down and with doors and windows closed. At select properties, the air conditioning may only function to a temperature in the 72-74 range with lower temperature settings mechanically excluded. |

| Entertainment | The Great Room and each of the three bedrooms at The Royal Ilima are equipped with HD digital cable boxes. There is also an unlimited Netflix download service available on a complimentary basis. Each room in A201 has a new oversized flat panel HD Samsung LED TV, and some televisions offer 3D viewing. Each room also has an HD and premium movie and music channels for extensive viewing options. The third bedroom with a king bed has all of the same amenities as well as a Sony PS3 gaming device. The Great Room system can be operated by an iPad. There is a central stereo system in A201 that can be controlled separately in each room throughout the villa. The Great Room is equipped with a large Sony flat panel wide screen HD digital Television which cantilevers out from the wall. It may be adjusted for various viewing positions from the outdoor terrace or the kitchen. Also provided in the Great Room is an HD DVR digital cable box with premium movie and music channels, Unlimited Netflix downloads, Logitech Harmony Remote, iPad controller, Surround Sound and Central Stereo that is adjusted in all rooms of the villa using individual wall-mounted room by room volume controls. The second master bedroom now has a large solid wood desk that is also set up with office supply. The third bedroom has a desk nook as well. |
