Sandcastles Suite L509 is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, ultra-luxurious ocean view villa residence featuring original wall art throughout including by Hawaii artists Suzie Papanikolas and quality furnishings throughout. Other celebrated artists in-residence on display at Sandcastles Suite L509 include George Allen, Sharon Shigekawa, Susan Howard, Jan Shaner and surfer-artist Pete Cabrinha. This is a true "Penthouse" villa with expansive and superlative 180 degree panoramic Pacific Ocean and Wailea Beach views. This elegantly contemporary residence boasts nearly 3,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor prime living space with 4 bedrooms with new ultra-lux mattresses (King, California King, Queen, Queen). One of the four bedrooms doubles as a private office space that can be closed off from the great room by mahogany paneled french doors. L509 has 3 full bathrooms. The primary bath has a deep soaking tub and separate glass shower and a large walk-in custom finished closet. The second primary bath has a glass shower, and the third bath has a tub and shower combination. The third Queen room and the den/bedroom share the third bath. Borrowing from the name "Sandcastles Suite", we blended vintage Hawai'iana elements and a beach theme with some modern touches to create a unique and extremely pleasant top quality living space. The color palette in the great room, master bedroom and third bedroom all share a variety of warm seaside tones including gold, sand, creme, light and dark browns, vanilla, yellow, light green, silver and copper. Off the great room is a large ocean view outdoor alfresco veranda with lounge chairs, a grand dining table, and a Viking stainless gas grill. The ocean views from the veranda are stunning - enjoy a broad panorama of the big blue Pacific Ocean including Maui's famous sunsets! We created Sandcastles Suite to rival the elegant but subdued ambiance of the Club Floor Lounge in an upscale hotel. The travertine great room floors were recently polished to a high shine to help reflect Maui's golden sunshine inside the villa. The furnishings are an exceptional and eclectic blend of tropical touches with contemporary and traditional pieces artfully blended to create an exceptional environment for discerning travelers. The living area is enhanced with an oversized hand-knotted wool carpet that also reflects the colors of the beach. The villa's brand new additions include a trio of of down-alternative filled sofas, new ceiling fans, patio furniture and motorized window dual layer blackout blinds in all of the bedrooms. The oversized gathering space has a 65 inch super-thin Samsung 4K HD television with HD programming and unlimited NETFLIX and PANDORA direct downloads, XBox 360 with KINECT, digital cable DVR/PVR, ipod dock, built-in surround sound speaker system, amplifier, wired and wireless internet. Each of the four bedrooms features a large new flat panel television (most are ultra-thin HD Samsung brand), Digital cable box (some with DVR/PVR), unlimited NETFLIX and PANDORA direct downloads, and HD program subscriptions. Eight guests can dine in elegant surroundings indoors at the hand-carved outrigger canoe shape dining table. Inside the canoe table, and viewable through the oversized beveled glass table top is an artful array of polished sea shells! Five guests can dine at the kitchen island on comfortable padded swivel bar stools. Along the wall in the dining room is a set of four sea shell designs each hand-embroidered on silk and set in mirrored frames. The frames and the droplet crystal chandelier set over the dining table reflect an abundance of light. All of the design elements work together to create a bright and sunny living space. All of the decor in L509 is unique and the best possible quality available in the islands. The kitchen is one of our favorite rooms to talk about. There is an espresso machine, 2 traditional drip coffee makers with thermal carafes, two refrigerators, 2 beverage drawers, double freezer, built-in microwave, convection range, Bosch dishwasher, and a ceramic glass Ceran cooktop. For those who enjoy cooking fresh food, the kitchen offers every type of small appliance one can think of, including an array of quality crystal glassware, plate-ware, and service ware. You are invited to make use of the waffle-maker, juicer, blender, toaster oven, mixer, rice cooker, popcorn popper, spices/herbs and other conveniences stocked in L509. There is also a fully stocked laundry room with an array of complimentary laundry supplies, a Stainless Viking gas BBQ grill on a spacious covered alfresco veranda, and high thread-count sumptuous pure cotton bed and bath linens. Our villas are extremely well stocked with an abundant supply of towels, blankets and extra bed linens, along with soap and cleaning products. There is plenty of inventory to suffice for several days. There is a laundry room within Your Own Private Paradise residence that provides a washer/dryer, laundry soap and supplies, iron/board, sewing kit, and other generous supplies. Personal laundry, clean up in the kitchen after cooking or meals, and grill cleaning, are not performed during occupied housekeeping services, unless arranged in advance and paid for separately. For details about the inclusive no-charge (complimentary) housekeeping services provided with your reservation, please refer to the rental cost quote provided to you at the time of first placing your reservation. You will receive information about the housekeeping schedule (dates and times) upon check in. No housekeeping service on national holidays. Inclusive housekeeping service may vary based on rate paid or length of stay or property. Limited properties provide cleaning every day. The Adult Pool & Hot Tub Spa is staffed with Pool Attendants who will help place a reclining chaise lounge on the beach for you. | Pool | Sandcastles Suite is five floors above the family pool, hot tub spa and Fitness Center. A second pool for adults with a natural free-form lava rock encircled whirlpool spa is just a short stroll down slope towards Wailea Beach. Both pools have attendants for help with towels and other services. Both pools are heated with relatively shallow design for maximum heat retention. | Air Conditioning |
All rooms have central air conditioning with individual room air conditioning controls, providing for all guests to set their own preferred temperature. If the doors are left open, the air conditioning will temporarily recess until the doors are closed again. All rooms are equipped with whisper quiet remote-control ceiling fans. Air Conditioning should never be set to cool below 70-72 or the equipment may freeze or experience any other damage. Most homes and villas in Hawaii are equipped with residential grade equipment which does not provide bottomless cooling. Cooling is available to a reasonable temperature, usually in the 70-72 range on the very low end. Most guests find that a setting of 72-74 is very comfortable once a unit has been allowed to cool down and with doors and windows closed. At select properties, the air conditioning may only function to a temperature in the 72-74 range with lower temperature settings mechanically excluded. |

Each of our luxury villas has a stated maximum occupancy, detailed on PrivateParadiseVillas.com and in your Agreement. Friends and family staying elsewhere on island during your visit are not a part of your Agreement and the guest list, and therefore are absolutely prohibited from entering Wailea Beach Villas and using the common element facilities such as the pools and fitness center. In order to have your friends or family members enjoy vacationing with you, please inquire with us regarding the availability of any other additional Wailea Beach Villas to rent. All gatherings must be planned for locations other than within Wailea Beach Villas community property.
